A quick introduction....my name is Don Wagner and I've been pursuing "Art in Nature" for the better part of 30 years. The camera has been my main tool of choice but charcoal has taken the front seat with recent pursuits. I feel there is no better place to find beauty than in the natural world - from intimate landscapes to the incredible animals living on it. I'm an avid outdoorsman but have swapped my archery equipment for my super-telephoto lenses & charcoal pencils

Most of my charcoal drawings/paintings are inspired by what I photograph in the field.  I also work with numerous photographers around the globe in finding images that I can use for reference in my charcoal pieces.
